Engineering of chemical industries

Course Description:
This course gives the background of chemical engineering and its existing chemical industries. This course studies the process description, the utility requirements, industrial safety and pollution control.

Course Outline:
Chapter 1: chemical processing, chapter 2: chemical processing and the work of the chemical engineer, chapter 3: water conditioning and environmental protection, chapter 4: Energy, Fuels, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, chapter 7: industrial gases, and other miscellaneous industries (calcium compounds, salts compounds, alkali industries).
