Applied mathematics for chemical engineer

Course Description:
This course studies the bridge between the mathematics courses and their applications for the chemical engineer problems and imparts the fundamental knowledge about the ordinary differential equations and the solution using several methods: Laplace transforms, power series, matrices, Fourier analysis

Course Outline:
Chapter 2: solution techniques for models yielding ordinary differential equations, Chapter 3: series solution methods and special functions, Chapter 4: integral functions, Chapter 9: introduction to complex variables and laplace transform.
