Chemical engineering thermodynamics 2

Course Description:
Course studies about the partial molar thermodynamics quantities, the steady and the unsteady state, the non-ideality in the fluids and solids, the applications of the corresponding states correlation for the estimation of the enthalpy and the entropy by using the residual thermodynamic features and properties, the calculation and the estimation of the fugacity for the pure substances, the gas mixture and the fluid solutions, the applications for the electrochemical equilibrium and the thermodynamics for chemical reactions and the chemical equilibria.

Course Outline:
Chapter six: classification analysis of fluid properties. Chapter seven: engineering equations of state PVT properties. Chapter nine: phase equilibrium in pure fluid. Chapter ten: introduction of multicomponent system. Chapter 12: Van der Waals activity models. Text book: introductory chemical engineering thermodynamics 2nd edition. (J. Richard Elliott and Carl T. Lira)
