Course Description:
In this course, the fluid mechanics’ principles and the conservation of energy laws are applied to analyse a fluid in the static and flow modes.

1. Fluid statics: hydrostatic pressures and buoyancy force. 2. Bernoulli equation 3. Fluid kinematics 4. Differential analysis of fluid flow: Navier-Stokes’s equations 5. Dimensional analysis: PI theorem 6. Viscous flow in pipes: laminar and turbulent flow 7. External flows: lift and drag
