ADVANCED INSTRUMENTATION AND PROCESS CONTROL
Course Description:
This course introduces the analysis and design of feedback control systems, including traditional control theory in the field of time and frequency, as it enables the engineer to use physical modeling of information systems and vitality using linear and non-linear differential equations to study the input / output response, modeling and reduction, and stability and performance of the interconnected systems, including the use of block diagrams.
Course Outline:
1) Control System Analysis. 2) First Order and Second Order Systems Response. 3) Controllers (P, PD, and PID). 4) System's Stability using Root Locus Method 5) Bode Diagram. 6) Compensators Design (Lead, Lag, and Lead-Lag). 7) State Space Representation of a System. 8) MIATLAB Simulation.
