SYSTEM DYNAMICS AND MECHANICAL VIBRATIONS
Course Description:
In this course, trainees study the basics of mechanical vibrations and the response of structures for dynamic forces. The course revises the elementary principles of system dynamics and the single and multi-degrees of freedom systems. It contains the free-body diagrams drawing and the equations of motion formulation. The course treats the free and damped vibrations for different applications. Procedures for the systems analysis are implemented in the course with the related engineering applications and responses. Moreover, the responses are visualized using MATLAB.
Course Outline:
1. Introduction to mechanical vibrations
